Asian shares mostly fell on Monday as pressure in bond markets mounted, while oil prices also slipped. BHP shares hit a record $67.72 as FY26 earnings jump and copper leads profits
BHP shares touched a record intraday high of $67.72 and are up nearly 48% in 2026. Its latest results showed revenue rose 15% to US$58.8 billion and underlying EBITDA climbed 27% to US$32.9 billion, while underlying attributable profit increased 30% to US$13.2 billion. Copper contributed 54% of underlying EBITDA, overtaking iron ore as the company’s biggest profit source, while unit costs across major assets fell 6% and net debt ended the year at US$8.7 billion.
