Ripple said it has received preliminary approval for a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license in Luxembourg under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. The approval, issued via a “Green Light Letter,” is still subject to final conditions. If fully granted, it could allow Ripple to roll out regulated cryptoasset services across the European Economic Area (EEA).

Binance recorded about $170 million in net USDT inflows over a 24-hour period. The stablecoin transfer activity is watched as a gauge of exchange liquidity and potential deployable capital. It can also be used to assess how traders may be positioning and how market sentiment is shifting.

South Korea’s Toss Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Solana Foundation to test blockchain-based remittance and settlement infrastructure. Toss Bank, the country’s third-largest internet-only bank, said the agreement was signed in Seoul on June 19. The partners plan to start with a proof of concept focused on stablecoin-powered overseas transfers before any broader rollout.

The Bank of England on June 22, 2026 published a policy statement and draft rules for systemic stablecoin issuers. The documents set out key elements of the United Kingdom’s proposed framework for systemic stablecoins.

UK regulators have overhauled their approach to systemic stablecoins, dropping proposed wallet-level holding limits in favour of an issuance cap. The Bank of England set a temporary guardrail of £40 billion per systemic stablecoin. It also eased reserve rules for issuers by allowing a larger share of backing assets in short-term UK government debt.

Coinbase began trading in ANTHROPIC-PERP and OPENAI-PERP pre-IPO perpetual futures on June 22. The USDC-settled contracts track each company’s private valuation rather than shares and do not confer equity, voting rights, or dividends. They are available only to eligible non‑US users, with US persons barred from trading them.

South Korea’s internet-only bank Toss Bank signed a memorandum of understanding with the Solana Foundation to build and test cross-border remittance infrastructure on Solana. The agreement is intended to serve as a starting point for the country’s third-largest internet bank to gradually integrate blockchain-based digital financial infrastructure across its services. Toss Bank plans to roll out the work in phases, beginning with overseas remittances before expanding into payments, digital assets and tokenized real-world assets.

Toss Bank and the Solana Foundation signed a remittance memorandum of understanding on June 19, 2026. The agreement targets services for Toss Bank’s 15 million customers. The timing comes ahead of South Korea’s planned crypto foreign-exchange rules set for December 2026.
