Kraken to auto-liquidate 7 delisted tokens from Aug. 3 to Aug. 7, warning some users could receive zero proceeds
Kraken disabled trading and deposits for seven tokens at 14:00 UTC on May 1, 2026, and will permanently shut withdrawals at 14:00 UTC on July 31. After that cutoff, the exchange will begin forced liquidations by selling the remaining balances into markets where liquidity has largely dried up. Monero (XMR), one of the affected assets, fell more than 5% within 24 hours of the announcement, while CoinGecko data for a PLANCK pool on Uniswap V3 BNB Chain showed about $591 in volume and less than $22 of depth on each side within ±2%, underscoring thin liquidity.
