NatWest gets Fed clearance to open Connecticut representative office to expand US footprint
NatWest has received approval from the US Federal Reserve to step up its US presence. The bank plans to open a new representative office to market its products and services, handle customer-service activity and carry out back-office functions. It follows UK ringfencing reforms implemented in January 2025 that made it easier to establish a physical presence outside the European Economic Area. NatWest first entered the US market as RBS in 1988 but later scaled back after the financial crisis.

CDT Equity invests in Pep’d via SAFE note with $10,000,000 valuation cap
CDT Equity Inc. said it has entered into a SAFE note investment in Pep’d Inc., a U.S.-based peptide company, with a valuation cap of $10,000,000. The SAFE is set to automatically convert into shares of Safe Preferred Stock once Pep’d closes an Equity Financing. CDT said the transaction expands its exposure to the growing U.S. peptide market. Pep’d operates a telehealth platform that connects patients in all 50 U.S. states with licensed clinicians.
