Nasdaq futures jump 2.2% after Micron earnings surge revives AI trade
Micron Technology posted earnings that beat expectations and lifted its outlook, helping reignite optimism around the AI hardware boom. The rally spread across global chip stocks, with Intel up 5.35% and ASML up 4%, while Nasdaq futures climbed more than 2.2%. The update came as Brent crude slipped back to levels last seen immediately before late-February U.S. and Israeli strikes against Iran, and gold fell below $4,000 a troy ounce.
