Samsung Foundry wins new advanced-node talks and orders from Nvidia, Tesla and Qualcomm amid TSMC 2nm capacity constraints

Samsung Foundry has secured new orders or entered advanced talks with Nvidia, Tesla, Qualcomm, AMD and Google for chips spanning 2nm to 4nm nodes. Tesla’s next-generation A16 is set to be manufactured exclusively at Samsung’s Texas facility. Nvidia has turned to Samsung as TSMC’s 2nm capacity is described as fully booked, while Google is discussing production of projects including its next-generation Axion AI accelerators, according to Nikkei Asia.
