Britain rolls out new Russia sanctions, adds 70 entities to list
Britain announced a new round of sanctions on Russia, adding 70 entities and tightening measures against Moscow’s “shadow fleet” involved in illegal oil and gas shipments. The package targets financial institutions including Yandex Bank and Rosgosstrakh, as well as networks linked to military intelligence procurement. It also marks the first time a G7 country has sanctioned ships associated with Russia’s Arctic LNG 2 project.
