Western Union launches "Stablecard" on Solana, bringing stablecoin remittances to the Visa network

Western Union has officially rolled out "Stablecard," a next-generation remittance product that delivers cross-border transfers as on-chain stablecoins and enables instant spending through the @Visa network. The service uses Western Union's native $USDPT stablecoin, issued on @Solana, with card infrastructure powered by @Raincards. At launch, Stablecard is available in 37 markets, giving a 100M-customer base direct access to 175M merchant locations worldwide.
