Tether Freezes 1.45M USDT in Four THORChain TRON Vaults, Lifts Blacklist Three Hours Later

Tether blacklisted four THORChain USDT vaults on TRON on October 9, freezing about 1.45 million USDT and halting swaps. THORChain paused TRON trading, then restored it about three hours later after the addresses came off the blacklist with balances intact. Cofounder Chad Barraford said the team received no warning and hoped the freeze was an error. Tether has not explained the action.
