ME News report, Aug. 25, 2026 (UTC+8) — Corporate crypto treasury activity swung sharply over the past day toward a "core-assets in, noncore-assets out" playbook, based on consolidated disclosures tracked by BBX Crypto-related Stock Information. Large U.S. treasury holders continued to scale up purchases of Bitcoin and Ethereum at a pace measured in tens of thousands of tokens per week, while some companies holding meme-coin exposure chose to fully unwind those positions and redeploy capital into AI computing infrastructure.
Strive (NASDAQ: $ASST) said in an 8-K filing with the U.S. SEC that it bought 1,110 BTC between Aug. 17 and Aug. 21, 2026, at an average price of about $73,409, a marked step-up versus prior weeks. As of Aug. 21, Strive reported total bitcoin holdings of 21,356 BTC. The company also listed additional balance-sheet liquidity of roughly $171.9 million in cash and 505,000 shares of Strategy STRC preferred stock, with a fair value of approximately $48.57 million.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE: $BMNR), a Nasdaq-listed mining company, disclosed it added 32,447 ETH last week. As of Aug. 23, 2026, Bitmine's ether holdings totaled 5,847,611 ETH, which it said is about 4.8% of the network's total supply. Bitmine put the combined value of its crypto assets, cash and equity at approximately $14.9 billion.
Bitmine also reported 5,067,309 ETH staked, representing 87% of its total ETH holdings. The staked position was valued at about $12.4 billion and is generating an annualized staking yield of roughly $330 million, the company said.
CleanCore, a cleaning products company, announced it raised about $100 million via a stock offering and sold all 463 million Dogecoin (DOGE) previously held on its balance sheet, generating about $33.4 million in cash. The company said the more than $130 million in total proceeds will be directed to support a full transition into AI infrastructure operations in Minnesota.
In AI-related capacity buildouts, decentralized compute network Aethir announced its ACCELERATE initiative to speed deployment of GPU data-center capacity across Europe and the U.S. The program has secured 10 sites with total capacity of 20 megawatts and is expected to generate up to $2 billion in total contract value. Aethir also introduced an ATH token burn mechanism designed to let token holders benefit from growing on-chain revenue.
