Sberbank Tests Bitcoin, Ether and USDT Trading in Banking App

Sberbank began testing crypto trading and transfer services for Bitcoin, Ether and USDT in its mobile banking app on October 8. Two days earlier, the Bank of Russia accepted the lender as a digital asset custodian under a new digital currency market framework. Sberbank said it will open the service to a wider customer base if the relevant regulatory framework takes effect before December 1. The pilot is currently limited to a select group of users.
