Solana narrowly avoided an outage after 28.83% of staked SOL went offline amid Teraswitch routing issue

Solana was close to halting on Wednesday after 28.83% of staked SOL went offline, according to Marinade Finance. The staking protocol attributed much of the disruption to a routing failure at infrastructure provider Teraswitch. Marinade said network traffic was restored in about 33 minutes. It added that 90 impacted validators lost a combined 333 SOL in rewards.
