Ethereum "OG" wallets unload 33,623 ETH after eight-year hold

ME News reported that on June 26 (UTC+8), Lookonchain data showed four long-dormant Ethereum "OG" wallets have resumed activity after eight years and started selling holdings. The wallets received a total of 37,602 ETH eight years ago, worth $58.66 million at the time based on an average price of about $830. During the bull markets of 2021 and 2025, their unrealized gains once topped $150 million, yet no sales were made. Over the past four hours, the wallets sold 33,623 ETH, valued at $52.46 million at an average price of roughly $1,560. Current realized profit is estimated at about $27.4 million. (Source: ODAILY)
