Crypto liquidations hit $1.12B in 24 hours as long positions account for $887M

ChainCatcher cited Coinglass data showing $1.122 billion in crypto positions were liquidated over the past 24 hours, led by $887 million in long liquidations versus $235 million in shorts. Bitcoin saw $413 million in long liquidations and $117 million in short liquidations, while Ethereum recorded $243 million in longs and $67.26 million in shorts. In total, 151,930 users were liquidated globally during the period. The largest single liquidation was a $38.05 million BTCUSD position on Hyperliquid.
