Circle on Aug. 5 released its Q2 2026 financial results. By quarter-end, USDC circulation climbed to $73.3 billion, up 19% year over year. Quarterly on-chain USDC transaction volume reached $14.8 trillion, a 151% increase from a year earlier.
Total revenue and reserve income for the quarter totaled $701 million, up 7% year over year. Adjusted EBITDA came in at $143 million, an 8% increase. Net income from continuing operations was $48 million, representing a $530 million year-over-year increase.
On the product and ecosystem side, Circle said the Arc blockchain will launch its mainnet on Sept. 16. BlackRock, DTCC, Galaxy, Mastercard, Visa, and Standard Chartered are set to serve as network validators. BlackRock plans to deploy its BUIDL fund on Arc, while DTCC will support tokenization of DTC-held assets on the network.
Circle also received final approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish Circle National Trust, making it one of the first stablecoin issuers to secure a U.S. federal banking charter. Separately, it received approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) to establish Circle New York Trust.
Circle Payments Network (CPN) reported that its annualized transaction volume over the past 30 days rose to $14.7 billion, up 76% quarter over quarter. The number of integrated financial institutions increased to 175, a 29% quarter-over-quarter gain.
