Binance to Halt EU Services After Greece Turns Down MiCA Licence Application
Binance will suspend services for EU customers starting next week after Greece rejected its application for authorisation under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework, the Financial Times reported. The exchange is now seeking approval via France, though any licence would arrive after the July 1 deadline. Binance has instructed customers in Poland, Italy, Spain and France to withdraw their funds. The company said user assets remain secure and it expects to obtain a licence within the next few months.
