Congress has sent the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act to President Trump after the House approved it with bipartisan support following earlier Senate passage. The housing bill includes a provision that restricts federal development of a central bank digital currency through 2030, while leaving private stablecoins, tokenized bank deposits and blockchain settlement experiments unaffected.
