Standard Chartered says Bitcoin 'winter is over' after drop to nearly $59,000
Standard Chartered's digital-asset research head Geoff Kendrick said Bitcoin's slide to nearly $59,000 likely marked the cycle low, arguing the latest correction signals the current crypto winter has ended. Bitcoin later rebounded above $63,000 and was at $63,882 at press time, up about 0.5% over the past 24 hours. The bank reiterated its $100,000 Bitcoin call and kept a $4,000 year-end target for Ethereum.
