$TRUMP Token Team Transferred 5M Tokens, Realized $1.8M After Trump Luncheon Announcement

The team behind the $TRUMP token transferred 5M tokens to a liquidity wallet about two weeks ago, then added liquidity in the $3.5–$3.8 range over the last three days while the token traded near $2.8, onchain analysis from @dethective shows. After an announcement of a gala luncheon naming President Donald J. Trump as keynote speaker pushed the token's price higher yesterday, that liquidity wallet converted the previously received tokens into roughly $1.8M USDC plus about $20K in fees. A separate wallet realized around $1M by using a single-price liquidity position that functioned as a sale without showing conventional dumping behavior, the analysis shows. The series of trades has prompted questions over whether profiting from such announcement-linked liquidity strategies falls within existing rules, according to @dethective.
