Bitcoin slipped under $66,000 late Tuesday before rebounding to around $66,460 in early Wednesday New York trading, after touching nearly $65,700. Ethereum fell more than 7% to about $1,849, while broader weakness followed $519 million of net outflows from U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs and about $90 million from spot Ethereum ETFs, alongside liquidations and rising Middle East tensions.

On Tuesday, June 2, spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $519.19 million in net outflows, marking a 12th straight session of redemptions, while ether ETFs extended their losing streak to 16 days with $90.15 million withdrawn. The day's largest moves included a $388.64 million exit from Blackrock's IBIT and a $44.27 million outflow from Blackrock's ETHA, even as Solana and HYPE products added $6.50 million and $3.15 million, respectively.

On June 3, US spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs recorded a combined $609.3M net outflow in one session as Bitcoin fell to $65,700 and Ether slipped below $1,900. The two-day June tally has surpassed $1Bn in Bitcoin ETF outflows, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust seeing $388.6M withdrawn and spot Ether ETFs posting $90.2M of redemptions.

In Q1 2026, the overall crypto market capitalization declined by nearly 20% and briefly dipped below $2.5 trillion, alongside more than $15.7 billion in liquidations. Bitcoin ended the quarter down 22.6% and Ethereum fell 35% to $1,820 at its February 6 low, while stablecoins hit a record $316.4 billion and RWA tokenization grew 38% to above $20 billion.

Ethereum fell 5% in 24 hours and 10% over the week, revisiting February 2026 capitulation territory near $1,871 with $1,800 flagged as a key daily-close level. On-chain metrics show 32.5% of supply (about 39.5M ETH) locked in staking while Binance stablecoin netflows averaged -$64M per day, alongside a Binance funding rate of 0.01 that points to a leveraged-long bias.

Orbs has released its V5 upgrade on Ethereum and Arbitrum, targeting stronger cross-chain verification for decentralized trading, lower infrastructure overhead, and broader validator participation. The protocol said its execution layer processed more than $14 billion in trading volume across 10+ networks and over 30 DEX integrations since V4, generating over $3.2 million in protocol revenue. Ethereum (ETH) fell 5.5% intraday on Tuesday, breaking below $1,900 for the first time since late February and touching a two‑month low of $1,880. Analysts tracking chart patterns said the pullback could extend, with key levels cited around $1,850, $1,825 and the 2026 lows near $1,750.

The global digital asset market experienced a sharp programmatic shakeout over the last 24 hours, with Ethereum (ETH) bearing the brunt of high-beta liquidations. ETH slumped 9.21% in 24 hours, skidding down to $1,816.42 amid an intense wave of derivatives volume that topped $71.60 billion. The digital asset’s market capitalization settled at $219.35 billion.

Charles Schwab is targeting a mid-2027 launch to let financial advisors use its custody platform for spot crypto trading, transfers, and custody. The plan would extend its push beyond the retail Schwab Crypto rollout, which started with spot Bitcoin and Ethereum trading and charges a 75 basis point fee per trade. Schwab reported $12.61 trillion in total client assets as of April 30, 2026, with Schwab Advisor Services representing about $5.31 trillion.

Ethereum fell below $1,950 after failing to hold above $2,000, then printed a low at $1,836 before consolidating under $1,920. The price remains below the 100-hour SMA, with resistance clustered at $1,880, $1,900, $1,920 and $1,950, while $1,840 and $1,820 are the key supports.
