Copper climbs above $14,000 per ton to a two-month high as LME inventories fall
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Copper moved above $14,000/ton to a two-month high as LME available inventories fell to ~94,200 tons and cancelled warrants signaled further withdrawals, steepening cash-to-3M backwardation to $105/ton. The tightening spot market supports industrial metals sentiment and may lift broader base-metals pricing. Aluminium also advanced to its highest since June 23, reinforcing the near-term supply-tightness narrative.

Copper prices moved above $14,000 a ton during Tuesday trading as stocks in London Metal Exchange warehouses continued to decline. The price hit a two-month high of $14,053 a ton, while the cash premium widened to $105 a ton, the steepest this year. Aluminium rose 1.2% to $3,259.50 a ton, its highest since June 23. The moves reflected tighter spot supply for base metals, offering short-term support to copper and aluminium.
