Cupid shares climb 8.8% in two sessions after Q1 profit triples
Cupid shares rose 8.8% over two sessions to Rs 289.95. For the April–June quarter, the company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 44 crore, up from Rs 15 crore a year earlier, while revenue from operations jumped 159% to Rs 155 crore. EBITDA increased 265% to Rs 60 crore and the EBITDA margin expanded 1,127 bps to 39%. The company said it implemented a minimum 10% price increase across its export portfolio and benefited from a favourable USD/INR exchange-rate environment, supporting export realisations and margin expansion.

Senco Gold shares drop 8.16% after Q1 profit slips and margins tighten
Senco Gold reported a 67% year-on-year rise in consolidated revenue to Rs 3,056 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, while consolidated profit after tax fell 3% to Rs 101 crore. The PAT margin narrowed to 3.3% from 5.7%, and the EBITDA margin declined to 7% from 10%. Gold, silver ETF inflows drop 55% and 70% in July as investors take profits
India’s gold ETF net inflows fell 55% month on month in July, while silver ETF inflows dropped 70%, according to data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India. Gold ETF assets under management rose to Rs 1.73 lakh crore, while silver ETF AUM slipped to Rs 77,676 crore. Gold ETFs posted an average return of 1.37% for the month, while silver ETFs recorded an average loss of 2.48%.

Godrej Consumer Products drops 10% after CEO Sudhir Sitapati resigns; HSBC cuts rating to Hold
Godrej Consumer Products said Managing Director and CEO Sudhir Sitapati resigned with immediate effect, sending the stock down as much as 10% intraday to Rs 916 on the BSE. Citi said management reiterated its FY27 guidance and gave no indication of a change in strategy. CLSA kept an Underperform rating and cut its target price to Rs 772, while HSBC downgraded the stock to Hold and reduced its target to Rs 1,120. The company recently reported a 12% year-on-year rise in quarterly net profit to Rs 505 crore.

Gold steadies near 10-week high as markets await U.S. CPI data

Muthoot Fincorp names four bookrunners for ₹3,000crore IPO
India’s gold-loan lender Muthoot Fincorp has appointed Kotak Mahindra Capital, Morgan Stanley India, JM Financial and SBI Capital Markets as bookrunning lead managers for its planned ₹3,000crore initial public offering. The issue is expected to be largely fresh shares and could dilute promoter ownership by about 10%. As of March 31, 2026, the company’s consolidated assets under management stood at ₹73,448.82 crore.

Nasdaq slips 0.32% as hopes for a Strait of Hormuz deal fade
