XRPL RWA Holder Count Climbs 25% as Ripple Steps Up Tokenization Push
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
XRPL saw a 25.16% monthly increase in real-world asset (RWA) holders as Ripple broadened tokenization infrastructure via investments and ecosystem partnerships, reinforcing institutional-use narratives around issuance, custody, and settlement. Offsetting this, XRPL stablecoin market cap fell 9.04% to about $901.4m despite a small rise in stablecoin holder addresses, suggesting adoption is improving unevenly while liquidity conditions remain constrained.

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) saw a notable surge in real-world asset (RWA) participation over the past month as Ripple deepened its tokenization strategy. On-chain data shows the number of addresses holding tokenized RWAs rose 25.16% month over month, signaling stronger traction for asset tokenization on the network.
RWAs refer to physical assets and traditional financial instruments that are represented and managed on blockchain rails. They can range from bonds and real estate to commodities, funds, and private credit. By tokenizing these instruments, issuers and investors can streamline ownership transfers, shorten settlement times, and broaden access to markets.
XRPL is positioned for tokenized finance thanks to rapid settlement, relatively low transaction costs, and built-in exchange functionality. These capabilities allow firms to issue, move, and trade assets within the network without stitching together multiple third-party systems, making XRPL a practical venue for institutions evaluating blockchain-based products.
Ripple has also been investing to expand the infrastructure needed for institutional-grade tokenization on XRPL. The company recently backed two major firms as part of a broader effort to bring more financial assets onto blockchain networks and support key functions such as custody, settlement, compliance, issuance, and secondary-market activity.
The initiative aligns with Ripple's growing emphasis on capital-markets use cases as institutions experiment with tokenized funds and other digital financial instruments. Ripple is positioning XRPL as a dependable network for enterprise payments and asset management, while continuing to add partnerships and services that bridge traditional finance with blockchain infrastructure.
The broader XRPL ecosystem continues to expand, with more than 1,000 developers and businesses building across payments, token issuance, decentralized trading, custody, compliance, and institutional settlement. XRPL has been live for more than a decade and relies on a consensus mechanism rather than traditional mining, processing transactions in seconds with comparatively low fees.
Stablecoin activity, though, remains a weak spot. Despite the jump in RWA holders, XRPL's stablecoin market cap fell 9.04% over the month to about $901.4 million. That decline suggests the increase in tokenized-asset holders has not yet translated into a broader rebound in stablecoin value on the ledger.
Participation edged up slightly: stablecoin holders increased 0.92% over the same 30-day period, leaving more than 60,240 addresses holding stablecoins on XRPL. The data points to marginally wider usage even as aggregate market value slipped.
Stablecoins are central to payments, trading, settlement, and liquidity in tokenized markets. Ripple is also using RLUSD to support its payments and institutional product ecosystem. The dollar-backed stablecoin runs on both XRPL and Ethereum, extending its reach. Stronger stablecoin liquidity could improve trading and settlement conditions for tokenized assets issued on XRPL by enabling users to settle without routing funds through traditional banking channels.
Overall, the latest figures highlight uneven momentum in XRPL's tokenization growth: RWA holding addresses are rising quickly, while stablecoin market capitalization continues to trend lower. Ripple's infrastructure push is shaping up as a key driver for broader adoption across both segments.
