Spot Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit $2.39B Even as BTC Pulls Back

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
US spot Bitcoin ETFs logged ~$2.39B of net inflows over five sessions, extending a seven-day streak, even as BTC pulled back from ~$87k to the low-$83k area. BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC drove most of the demand, reinforcing the role of institutional flows as a key marginal buyer. The price-flow divergence suggests resilient allocation appetite despite near-term volatility.

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) drew nearly $2.39 billion in net inflows last week, even as Bitcoin pared back part of its early-week advance. The products posted net inflows in every session from Sept. 21 through Sept. 25. Monday led with $999 million, followed by $714.7 million on Tuesday. Inflows then cooled to $346.9 million on Wednesday, $190.7 million on Thursday and $134.5 million on Friday, taking the five-day total to about $2.386 billion. The streak also pushed ETFs to seven straight sessions of net inflows. BlackRock and Fidelity were the main drivers. BlackRock's IBIT brought in roughly $1.16 billion over the week, while Fidelity's FBTC added about $701.6 million. ARK 21Shares' ARKB recorded around $294.7 million. Even Friday's smaller $134.5 million net intake was anchored by $97 million into IBIT and $49.3 million into FBTC, partly offset by an $11.8 million outflow from Bitwise's BITB. Bitcoin itself was far more volatile. BTC started Sept. 21 near $81,200, surged and briefly topped roughly $87,360, then held above $86,000 on Tuesday. It fell about 2% on Wednesday to end around $84,400, and traded mostly near $84,000 through Thursday and Friday, closing Sept. 25 around $84,100. Over the weekend, Bitcoin steadied and climbed toward $85,000 on Sunday, briefly trading above $85,100, but the rebound faded. At press time, BTC was around $83,070, down about 2% in the past 24 hours after a sharp drop from weekend highs. The gap highlights a key theme into the new week: ETF investors kept adding exposure even as Bitcoin retreated from recent highs.
