THORChain has released version 3.2, expanding its native cross-chain swap capabilities to include Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC), ChainCatcher reported. The update allows users to swap XMR and ZEC directly into BTC, ETH and stablecoins without wrapping assets, opening accounts with centralized exchanges, or giving up custody of funds. Version 3.2 also introduces Protocol-Owned Liquidity (POL) and a Stable Reserve, and reinstates support for Solana, Base and BNB. THORChain said the Stable Reserve enables zero-liquidity-fee stablecoin-to-stablecoin exchanges. The release is positioned as an alternative route for users affected by reduced liquidity access stemming from centralized exchange delistings or restrictions on XMR, offering a new noncustodial trading channel.
