Strive Funds Purchase of 191 Bitcoin Through SATA Perpetual Preferred Offering
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Strive's SATA preferred stock ATM program funded the purchase of 191 BTC over three days, signaling sustained investor demand for a yield-bearing instrument used explicitly to accumulate Bitcoin. The structure (perpetual preferred, variable 13% dividend paid daily) avoids debt maturities and may broaden corporate treasury participation beyond convertible debt models. Near-term, the news supports institutional bid perception for BTC via ongoing, programmatic corporate flows.

Strive, Inc. said it has raised sufficient capital through its preferred equity vehicle, SATA, to acquire 191 Bitcoin, marking its strongest three-day run rate since May 2026. The Nasdaq-listed company (ticker: ASST) is using a structure that differs from the more widely cited corporate Bitcoin strategy of issuing convertible debt.
SATA, formally Strive's Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, is designed to deliver yield to investors while channeling proceeds into Bitcoin purchases. The security carries a $100 par value and currently pays a 13% annualized dividend, with distributions made daily. The dividend rate is variable and can be adjusted by Strive's board, giving the company latitude to recalibrate funding costs as conditions change.
The model is driven by an at-the-market (ATM) issuance program. When SATA trades above its $100 par value, Strive can sell newly issued shares into the open market and retain the premium, directing that cash to Bitcoin acquisitions. If SATA trades below par, the company can pause issuance. Strive authorized a $500 million ATM program in December 2025 to finance Bitcoin purchases through this mechanism. The latest three-day capital raise, sufficient for 191 BTC, indicates SATA has remained above par, supported by ongoing investor demand.
SATA has previously been used to build Strive's Bitcoin treasury. In November 2025, the company raised $149.3 million in an oversubscribed SATA IPO, and those proceeds helped fund the purchase of roughly 2,500 BTC in late May and early June 2026. While the latest 191 BTC tranche is smaller, Strive highlighted the faster pace, pointing to renewed momentum in ATM-driven funding.
Strive also shifted the preferred stock payout cadence away from the typical quarterly schedule. Daily dividend distributions on business days took effect on June 16, 2026, creating a near-continuous yield stream for holders.
The company's use of perpetual preferred equity avoids a fixed debt maturity date, reducing the refinancing and repayment pressure that can accompany bond or convertible note issuance. Instead, the primary ongoing cost is the dividend, which management can adjust. For investors, SATA offers a yield-bearing instrument with indirect exposure to Bitcoin accumulation. Key risks include a sharp decline in Bitcoin prices while Strive continues to owe dividends on an expanding preferred share base, with daily payment obligations persisting through market drawdowns.
