Nifty seen opening higher as crude oil slides

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
India's Nifty is poised for a stronger open as crude prices drop over 6% in two sessions and U.S. yields ease, improving global risk sentiment. High August rollover (64%) suggests institutions are carrying long exposure into the new series. Separately, the RBI's $73bn NRI deposit inflows over 11 weeks reduce INR funding stress, supporting domestic liquidity conditions and near-term equity risk appetite.

India's Nifty is expected to open about 80 points higher after U.S. crude fell more than 6% over the past two sessions, easing into the $80–81 a barrel range. A pullback in U.S. Treasury yields also supported risk sentiment. Asian markets started mixed, with Japan's Nikkei 225 down about 0.3% and South Korea's Kospi up around 0.4%. In derivatives, the Nifty roll-over rate for the August series stood at 64%, above the three-month average, indicating institutions are carrying long positions into the new contract. Separately, the Reserve Bank of India has raised $73 billion via NRI deposits over 11 weeks, helping relieve pressure on the rupee.
