Standard Chartered has become the first bank to distribute HKDAP, one of Hong Kong's two regulated stablecoins, to eligible institutional clients and partners. HKDAP is issued by Anchorpoint Financial. The bank said it plans to roll out tokenized money market fund subscription and settlement services with asset managers in Q4. It is also piloting HKDAP for intragroup settlement and assessing additional applications, including cross-border payments and treasury-management solutions.
