Splash said it has fixed the validator vulnerability tied to the Sept. 13 exploit of the ADA/OADA StableSwap pool on Cardano. The attacker drained about 2.42 million cardano:native and nearly 1.99 million OADA, leaving the pool with just 10 ADA and roughly 1.44 million OADA. According to Splash, missing reserve checks allowed the validator to approve an invalid swap. The update closes the documented attack path, but the protocol said it cannot recover the ADA that was removed. OADA holders still require new liquidity or a redemption process before they can regain a meaningful exit.
