XRP Holders Warned of Sophisticated Phishing Campaign and Counterfeit Flare Network Staking Sites

XRP holders are facing a significant security threat as a coordinated phishing campaign targets the ecosystem through counterfeit Flare Network staking websites and brand impersonation. According to security alerts from Xora Finance and the Xaman wallet, scammers are utilizing cloned domains and fraudulent support accounts to drain user wallets. South Korean authorities reported that one specific scheme affected 71 investors, resulting in the theft of 3.4 million XRP, valued at approximately $8.5 million at the time of the incident. Total losses across related fraudulent sites are estimated to exceed ₩20 billion (roughly $13.4 million). Xora Finance founder Joren Lundgren and teams from Doppler Finance have urged users to verify official channels and avoid unverified links. Xaman reiterated that it never requests private keys or conducts unsolicited airdrops, emphasizing the critical need for security hygiene as the XRP Ledger ecosystem expands.
