ChainCatcher reported that the SOON Foundation has temporarily suspended the cross-chain bridge linking svmBNB and the SOON mainnet, according to an announcement from the official SOON account for the SVM Rollup project. Abnormal withdrawal activity occurred on the bridge at approximately 11:00 UTC on Oct. 31, 2026. The Foundation detected the anomaly at 14:00 UTC and immediately shut down the service. It said the affected bridge has been secured and an in-depth investigation is underway. The svmBNB–SOON mainnet bridge will remain suspended, with further updates to be announced separately. svmBNB uses SVM as its execution layer and BNB Chain as its settlement layer, while the SOON mainnet is a Rollup network built on a decoupled SVM. SOON has received backing from Jump, Hack VC, Anagram and others, according to official project information.
