Huoxing Finance reported that on Oct. 8, on-chain tracker Yujin said HyperLabs, the development team behind Hyperliquid, redeemed 3.75 million HYPE tokens about eight hours earlier, worth roughly $332 million. About four hours later, after the tokens were split across five wallets, they were consolidated into address 0x875...1d1, which Yujin suggested may belong to an institution that bought HYPE from the team via an OTC transaction. Of the total, 1.25 million HYPE (around $110 million) was redeposited for staking, while the remaining 2.5 million HYPE (about $220 million) is still held in the wallet.
