Godrej Properties logs record Q1 FY2025 bookings, but net profit tumbles 42% as revenue recognition slows
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Godrej Properties reported record Q1 sales bookings and higher collections, signaling resilient housing demand and strong cash conversion. However, net profit fell 42% due to slower revenue recognition, highlighting timing effects in reported earnings despite solid underlying operating momentum. Management maintained FY25 guidance for bookings and collections, which should support confidence but keeps near-term focus on execution and recognition cadence.

Godrej Properties reported its highest-ever sales bookings for the first quarter of FY2025, selling 3,738 homes with a saleable area of 6.2 million sq ft. Collections rose 18% year on year to INR 434.8 billion, while operating cash flow came in at INR 39.9 billion. Despite the strong booking and collection momentum, quarterly net profit fell 42% from a year earlier, which the company attributed mainly to a slower pace of revenue recognition. Godrej Properties reiterated its FY2025 guidance, targeting bookings of more than INR 3.9 trillion and collections of INR 2.4 trillion for the full year.
