FIIs net buy Rs 2,446 crore; DIIs net sell Rs 936 crore on Aug. 4

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Foreign investors were net buyers in Indian equities while domestic institutions sold, yet benchmarks fell, signaling cautious risk appetite and potential near-term churn. Brent's jump on Middle East uncertainty adds inflation and current-account sensitivity for India. A sharp rise in FCNR-B deposits underscores improved FX funding conditions and reserve support, which can temper currency stress even as equity sentiment remains mixed.
