PANews, Aug. 5 — Circle said its open blockchain network Arc, built for global financial markets, will go live on the public mainnet on Sept. 16. Arc is currently running on a private mainnet and has drawn more than 100 institutions and ecosystem participants. BlackRock, DTCC (The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation), Galaxy, Global Payments, ICE, Mastercard, MoneyGram, SBI Group, Standard Chartered Bank, Sumitomo Corporation and Visa will act as founding validators, supporting Arc's network security and governance.
