Bitdeer Inks 16-Year AI Data Center Lease Valued at $4.7B

Bitdeer said its subsidiary Tydal Data Center AS has entered into a 16-year data center hosting and services agreement with Volta Tydal AS for the Tydal AI/HPC campus in Norway. Under the deal, the facility will deliver 121 MW of IT load capacity (about 133 MW of total power), dedicated exclusively to the deployment of NVIDIA GPUs in support of a leading AI laboratory. Total contract payments over the initial term are expected to be about $4.7 billion. The agreement also includes an optional eight-year extension that could lift the total potential contract value to roughly $8 billion. (Stocktitan)
