Bitdeer said on Aug. 4 that its subsidiary, Tydal Data Center AS, has entered into a 16-year colocation lease and services agreement with Volta Tydal AS for an AI/HPC campus in Tydal, Norway, according to Huoxing Finance.
Under the deal, Bitdeer will deliver 121 MW of IT capacity (about 133 MW total), fully equipped with NVIDIA GPUs, to support a leading AI laboratory. The contract is expected to generate roughly $4.7 billion in revenue over the initial term. An additional eight-year renewal option would lift the potential total contract value to about $8 billion.
Bitdeer said the improved gross lease rate averages about $202 per kilowatt per month. Electricity costs will be reimbursed by the tenant, and the agreement includes a 3% annual escalation clause.
The company estimates a net operating income (NOI) margin of around 90%, with projected annual revenue of approximately $2.4 million per IT megawatt.
BIT (bit.com) market data showed Bitdeer's U.S. premarket shares up 11.7% at $12.77.
