Bitcoin Records Largest Single-Day CEX Net Outflow Since March as Exchange Supply Drops to 6.5%
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Santiment data show Bitcoin CEX net outflows hit 24,073 BTC, the largest since March 1, driving exchange-held supply down to ~6.5% of total BTC. Large withdrawals typically indicate reduced near-term sell-side liquidity as coins move off exchanges. If spot demand holds up, tighter liquid supply can amplify sensitivity to incremental flows and increase volatility around upside moves.

Bitcoin recorded its largest single-day net outflow from centralized exchanges (CEXs) in seven months on Monday, Dec. 9, according to Santiment data reported by ChainCatcher. A total of 24,073 BTC was withdrawn from exchanges, marking the highest volume of outflows since March 1. This significant movement has reduced the total share of Bitcoin held on CEXs to approximately 6.5% of the total circulating supply. Santiment analysts interpret these sizable outflows as a bullish indicator, as assets moved into private custody or cold storage are less available for immediate liquidation. With demand remaining consistent and liquid supply tightening, the reduction in exchange-held coins creates a supply-demand imbalance that historically exerts upward pressure on Bitcoin's market price.
