Tether Issues $1 Billion USDT on Tron, Lifting Stablecoin Supply to $183 Billion

Tether has minted $1 billion in USDT on the Tron blockchain, marking its first issuance of this size in more than a month. The move brings USDT’s total circulating supply to about $183 billion, with roughly $96 billion on Ethereum and $86 billion on Tron. The expansion comes as global economic and geopolitical uncertainty continues to affect risk assets and crypto markets.
