Ethereum Foundation Offloads 5,000 ETH to BitMine for $10.2M to Support Network Development

The Ethereum Foundation sold 5,000 ETH to BitMine Immersion Technologies for $10.2 million, with the tokens changing hands at an average price of $2,042.96 per ETH. At the time of the sale, ETH was trading close to $2,070, and the Foundation indicated the proceeds will fund core operations such as protocol development, research, and ecosystem grants.
