World Liberty Financial Launches "Super Nodes" Requiring $5 Million WLFI Token Lock

World Liberty Financial, a crypto project co-founded by U.S. President Trump, launched a "Super Nodes" program requiring participants to lock $5 million in WLFI tokens—about 50 million tokens—for 180 days to gain priority access to collaboration discussions with its business development team and executives, ChainThink reported citing Reuters on March 14. The proposal passed a community vote with 99% support, the project team said, and users must stake tokens to obtain governance voting rights and receive a 2% WLFI token reward after participating in at least two votes. Under the project's terms, 75% of proceeds from new token sales are allocated to the Trump family, while the White House Counsel said President Trump is not directly involved in the related business dealings and that there is no conflict with his presidential responsibilities.
