Bitmine Adds $102M in Ethereum, Now Holds Over 3.7% of ETH Supply
Bitmine, the crypto treasury firm led by Tom Lee, purchased an additional $102.05 million worth of Ethereum over the past week and now holds $8.97 billion in ETH, representing more than 3.7% of the circulating supply, Arkham Research data show. The company has staked over 67% of its Ethereum holdings, valued at about $6.09 billion, while sitting on roughly $7 billion in unrealized losses as it continues targeting 5% of total ETH supply. Ethereum traded between $1,840 support and $2,000 resistance over the week, briefly reclaiming $2,000 after an approximate 8% rise on Monday before retreating 6.44% to $1,956. Separately, Michael Saylor said on X that Strategy bought 3,015 Bitcoin for around $204.1 million at about $67,700 per BTC, bringing its total holdings to 720,737 BTC valued near $54.77 billion as of March 1, 2026.
