Tether to Launch USAT Stablecoin in U.S. Expansion, Holds $122B in Treasuries

Tether is expanding its U.S. operations with a new stablecoin called USAT, CEO Paolo Ardoino said, describing the move as preparation for a "coming apocalypse." The stablecoin issuer currently holds $122 billion in U.S. Treasuries. The expansion includes political support alongside the new product launch.
