SBI Holdings to Issue $65 Million Onchain Bonds with XRP Rewards

SBI Holdings plans to issue around $65 million in onchain bonds in March, paying a fixed interest rate of 1.85% to 2.45% semiannually and maturing in early 2029, the company said. The bonds will grant $1.29 worth of XRP for every $645 held, with eligibility limited to account holders at its crypto exchange subsidiary, SBI VC Trade. Mizuho Bank will serve as bond administrator and register administrator, with issuance running via Boostry's ibet for Fin platform, which also supported Nomura's December 2025 offering. The bonds are primarily designed for retail investors, SBI added.
