U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs draw $853.5 million in weekly inflows through Aug. 7, led by BlackRock’s $693 million
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs logged their largest weekly inflows since mid-April (~$853.5m), dominated by BlackRock's IBIT, while Ethereum ETFs added ~ $245m. The inflow streak follows months of net selling and coincides with a public Coldcard firmware exploit that highlighted self-custody risks, potentially shifting demand toward regulated ETF custody. Softer U.S. payrolls reduced near-term hike odds, modestly supporting risk appetite amid still-tight real yields.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs took in about $853.5 million in net inflows in the week through Aug. 7, the largest weekly intake since mid-April. BlackRock’s IBIT contributed $693 million and Fidelity’s FBTC added about $116 million. Ethereum ETFs attracted nearly $245 million over the same period, lifting combined inflows for the two categories to roughly $1.1 billion. After months of net selling, Bitcoin ETFs were about $4.5 billion net outflow year-to-date and saw more than $8 billion of heavy outflows over eight weeks earlier in the summer, before the recent run of daily net inflows reversed the slide.
