Oil jumps to $83.94 and gold to $4,387.03 as geopolitical tensions lift markets

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Escalating geopolitical tensions (Red Sea shipping attacks, North Korea missile activity, and broader regional military drills) lifted safe-haven demand and boosted energy risk premia, pushing gold and oil to recent highs. Markets remain cautious into key U.S. CPI data that could shift Fed policy expectations, while Japan bond yields surged on renewed early-hike pricing, adding cross-asset volatility. Regional equities were mixed, reflecting risk-off hedging alongside macro event risk.
