Centrica chief executive Chris O’Shea warned the UK could face a winter fuel shortage, saying the country has “almost no gas in storage” as winter nears. The UK can store only about an estimated 5 per cent of its annual demand and relies heavily on imports from Norway and LNG supplies from the US and Qatar.
