Soybean Crush Falls to 13-Month Low of 196.3 Million Bushels

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
September NOPA soybean crush at 196.3 million bushels missed expectations and hit a 13-month low, pressuring soybean futures despite fresh Chinese purchases. Corn and wheat also slipped on harvest pressure and pre-report caution. Rising ethanol output and freeze warnings across the Midwest add supply and crop-risk variables. For macro commodity watchers, the grain complex soft tone may weigh on broad agricultural sentiment, though spillover into gold is limited.

U.S. soybean processors crushed 196.3 million bushels in September, a 13-month low that came in below both the 197.9 million bushels of a year earlier and the 205 million bushels traders had expected, according to the National Oilseed Processors Association. Ethanol production averaged 1.065 million barrels a day, the highest in a month. Grain futures fell broadly, with soybean, corn and wheat front-month contracts all lower. Frost is forecast in Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
