Nasdaq to Use Kraken's xStocksFi to Link Regulated Equity Markets with Onchain DeFi Access

Nasdaq is developing an "equities transformation gateway" using Kraken's xStocksFi platform to connect traditional regulated markets directly with permissionless blockchain and DeFi, with Kraken designated as the official global distribution partner focusing on Europe and emerging markets. xStocks has processed more than $25B in volume, with over $4B settled onchain and more than 85,000 holders on the platform. The initiative targets the introduction of 24/7 trading capabilities in H1 2027.
