Ethereum Foundation Begins Staking Program With Initial 2,016 ETH, Targeting 70,000 ETH Treasury Deployment

The Ethereum Foundation has started staking part of its treasury, first depositing 2,016 ETH and signaling an intention to stake about 70,000 ETH in total. All rewards will return to the Foundation's treasury as it participates directly in Ethereum's proof-of-stake consensus using an open-source, distributed validator setup.
